Imagine Living a Stone’s Throw from the Historic Sonoma Plaza - Buyer Case Study

158 Church St. Sold $949K

Background:  Many clients know they want to live in the North Bay, but may be unsure of exactly where – this is why it’s important to work with an agent that has experience in multiple markets.

Challenges: This client moved from out of state and loved her rental in Marin – but also really loved Sonoma County and had always dreamed of living there. Purchasing real estate as your home (vs. an investment) can be an emotional process – weighing multiple variables, pros and cons, and desires. There’s also the practical challenges such as limited inventory, budget, and competition.

Strategy: We cast a wide net and started the search looking at both Marin and Sonoma County – exploring options from Sausalito to Novato looking at condos and single family homes. My recommendation was for a single family home because of the desirability, privacy, and current rising rates of condo fees.

Execution: Over the span of 9 months we saw 30 properties and performed thorough due diligence – ranging from the affordability of Novato to the A+ locations of Tiburon and Larkspur, and Greenbrae, along with weighing her commute.

Outcome: Ultimately what won was the realization that the dream of owning a small home just off the Sonoma Plaza  was within reach. This client purchased in December 2023 – right before the January rush and got a fantastic price on a stunning home.

Conclusion: In the realm of real estate, success is not just about closing deals; it's about fulfilling dreams. Through personalized service, expert negotiation, and transparent communication, I strive to deliver exceptional results for every client. If you're in search of your dream home in Sonoma or Marin, I'm here to help. Let's embark on this journey together and turn your real estate dreams into reality.
